EASY and CHEAP foolproof quail chick waterer!!!

As stated above, I use the standard 'no drown' chick waterers for standard size quail, ie; Bob's, Blues, Mountain, etc....for button quail I use a waterer similar to the parakeet waterers.

Whatever you use the worst part is getting them to use something else! They grow so fast they empty the small bottles quickly but absolutely refuse to use a nipple waterer until forced, and then they sulk and refuse to learn, I’ve started throwing a grandma hen in to show them the ropes and then they figure it out pretty quick, same goes for switching to pelleted feed and turning off the heat lamp, they don’t like change! Chicken little was a quail!
