I'm afraid, whilst reading your first few posts, my thoughts were Marek's Disease too. It compromises the immune system and can come and go with paralysis. Flossy may well be attacking Figet to run him out of the flock because he is diseased, rather than causing the symptoms. I appreciate that the pecking will not help the situation and could be the cause, but that doesn't really explain Giget who had the same symptoms. If the breeder is suggesting Marek's that makes me think there is Marek's in their flock. NPIP certification does not test for Marek's. As someone who has Marek's in their flock I am aware of the more subtle symptoms as well as the obvious ones like lameness and eye deformity.
