eating feathers

I have a hen eating feathers off the ground. Ive seen her eat rather large ones too. Do i need to be concerned about this? If so what can i do to prevent it?

alrite one more question... Im also dealing w a hen that has an impacted crop. Been givin oil w bread and massaging it since monday. Its soft food in her crop doesnt seem to be goin anywhere. Is that a good thing? I can feel scratch feed inside of it. Not too much of anything else
