Eating their eggs

The shells seem to be alittle thinner.
Thin shelled eggs are easily broken and thus fair game for eating, IMO.
They could be getting broken by chaotic happenstance, due to the 'fighting' between old and new birds. Could be more of an integration issue than actual egg eating problem.

So maybe we look at:
This info might help us help you too....
-your flock size(numbers, ages, genders),
-your coop(size in feet by feet with pics),
-and what and how exactly you are feeding,
might offer clues to if there is a solvable problem.

The eggs I am finding are outside the coup on the ground in the run. I inroduced 5 new Easter eggers about a month ago. The older chickens pick on them.

Maybe put a nestbox or two out in the run--it sounds like some are either choosing not to go inside to lay, or are being blocked/prevented from going in. If the eggs get laid in a nestbox, they're less likely to get eaten.

Do you know whether the eggs on the ground are from the new chickens or the old ones? (If they lay different colors, it might be obvious. If they all lay the same, you may not be able to tell.)
