Katy,I have cuckoos and I sure would be interested in purchasing or swapping eggs with you when the weather cools down. Just pm me with your price or interest in swapping. All but 4 of my hens are setting or brooding or something right now,so I know what you mean. The do make wonderful mamas,though.

Seems like this thread has gone from dissing Ebay egg sellers to a Black Copper Marans thread.

I don't sell eggs at all so I am not offended. However, with all the variables surrounding shipped hatching eggs, I cannot understand how anyone could diss a seller for a low hatch rate. I do understand being upset over the wrong breed and you have every right to a refund for that.

Buyers are the only ones who can leave negative feedback on Ebay. Sellers are now only able to go through the Ebay procedure for non-paying bidders, etc. I don't think it's a good policy, but nonetheless, that is what it is.

If you are a buyer and have a gripe with the seller "that you cannot resolve by directly contacting them", then you are allowed to leave negative feedback.

Personally, I go to great lengths to work anything out with either a buyer or a seller before leaving negative feedback.

Is that an egg turner they are on?? My DH has been saying he wishes to get us one. I have ordered 15 maran chicks from our local feed store. Just waiting on the arrival date from the hatchery.

DH & I are excited. Plan on surprizing our grandson Noah with the new arrivals. So in the mean time we have to make a couple more panels to expand our run area for our expanding flock,
