I have 19 chickens that need to be dewormed. It has to be feed to them. Their water cups are hooked up to running pipe water so no water dewormer. I saw this dewormer on Amazon. Is it safe to give to them? I heard pumpkin and any type of squash is a more natural way of dewormer is it true? It’s almost pumpkin season if that’s the case haha. Please lmk. It has to be edible at their own pace and will.

Hello! You can try orego-stim, but it will likely just make them expel the worms more readily and not kill them. If they re-ingest them again from the environment, the problem will persist.

I would try fenbendazole. I believe they do make a liquid form to put into water, but I believe that product is still considered extra-label when used in chickens.

I don't know how many studies exist regarding drug residues in eggs, but I suggest checking some scientific literature on that to see what they recommend and decide if and how long you want to discard the eggs. You may have luck with articles published in the UK, as it is approved for use in chickens there.

Best wishes!
