So I'm prepared, what are the risks/potential complications of too LARGE an air cell?
(I'm off to go dig through the info, just thought I'd also ask...)

Yup. I wanted some olive eggers from Goodwin and the Marans girls - and there was the chance some of these eggs were form the marans girl who disappeared, too.![]()
Yup. And all from pullets the same age form the same breeder (though different breeds). Same food, same set up, but different breeding tractor coops. Not sure what it could be...

That's a thought... I'm wondering if they weren't eating their oyster shell or something. But the eggs are plenty strong - they're some of the hardest to break when eating them. SOOOOOOOOO weird!!!
Quote: Thanks. I've started collecting Arbequina's olive eggs, and would like to set them as well, while she still may have some of Goodwin's sperm left. As one more generation in a complex olive egger mix (she already came to me as an F2) to add back additional blue egg genes, since I can - and then if I get pullets I can cross those with the marans roo and get an even darker F4. These that are losing so much weight would be an F1 made here with a different background. Just playing, and trying to get some of Goodwin's babies while I can...
Goodnight cactus flowerGoodnight, cola covered cacti!!
Now why would I do that? I'd be doing a happy dance coz I finally got you to see reason.I love Duck!!! Packed with sauerkraut, or in a good orange sauce. I am just so neat and clean their sloppy habits go against my very nature.... And I if I liked them Banty would find me just too perfect and cry herself to sleep every night....![]()
Whatever works!
But she cries herself to sleep every night because you don't like them so what difference would it make?
EEEEEEEEEEE!!! I need them!!
the youngest babies!!![]()
Oh no!! How badly injured?? They can survive a whole lot, I had a hen get her side and most of her back chawed off and she made it. I didn't even bring her inside or clean the wound..
