Yup. I wanted some olive eggers from Goodwin and the Marans girls - and there was the chance some of these eggs were form the marans girl who disappeared, too.

That's a thought... I'm wondering if they weren't eating their oyster shell or something. But the eggs are plenty strong - they're some of the hardest to break when eating them. SOOOOOOOOO weird!!!
Quote: Thanks. I've started collecting Arbequina's olive eggs, and would like to set them as well, while she still may have some of Goodwin's sperm left. As one more generation in a complex olive egger mix (she already came to me as an F2) to add back additional blue egg genes, since I can - and then if I get pullets I can cross those with the marans roo and get an even darker F4. These that are losing so much weight would be an F1 made here with a different background. Just playing, and trying to get some of Goodwin's babies while I can...

I love Duck!!! Packed with sauerkraut, or in a good orange sauce. I am just so neat and clean their sloppy habits go against my very nature.... And I if I liked them Banty would find me just too perfect and cry herself to sleep every night....:lau
Now why would I do that? I'd be doing a happy dance coz I finally got you to see reason.
Whatever works!
But she cries herself to sleep every night because you don't like them so what difference would it make?
:clap

Sounds like a good plan. I hope it works out.
