I went over to check, but didn't have anything more to add than what you already shared.
Chicks are good - the oldest are 6 weeks old tomorrow, and REALLY need to move outside soon. I will have no heat source for them out there, and nights are still in the 40s to 50s, so we're limping along and I'm cleaning the brooder for them A LOT. The others are good, too. And the other two big brooders are set up for the two shipments of chicks that will arrive this week. (I just have the last bits of business to do and need to put those MHPs together tonight).
Monkey's foot is a lot better, and I moved him outside on Sunday. I'm starting to wonder if he has some sort of "pigeon foot" or hip issue, as I think he walks a little funny when not limping (I may have just noticed because I was watching him a lot). I'm going to try to get a good look at him today before sundown. But he doesn't seem to be in pain or limping like he was before, so I think all is good. Before I took him out, I coated his legs and feet really well with castor oil (as well as his comb, which was a little bit of a mess). Everything looks a lot better to me. I'm going to castor oil the girls in that pen tonight or tomorrow.
