Spring goat kid pics!

Green grass!!

I gave up on and sold them last year. Actually, I sold a lot last year and in January. I now have the fewest chickens I think I've ever had. I'm down to 5 and 3 of those are roos. The eggs are a mystery cross. I know the hens are Black Australorp (Jazzy the 6-year-old) and BA/ Production Red (Henrietta the 4-year-old). The daddy could be White Chantecler, EE, or WC/BO. Turns out that not only can the girls keep up with a younger hen, they have 100% fertility. We'll see if they hatch with any problems due to the hens being a little older.

Oh, and this week I have a bunch of mystery eggs coming in from Meyer and in April I'll have Isabel Orp eggs coming in from MPC.

Next up, Brahmas....

Hi Phil! 

How are things going?  Any updates on your wife?

I wish things after better.... But it's okay. Spring is coming and I'll feel better when the snow melts. I was out ice fishing in Munising Bay Saturday.
I caught a mess of smelt so I being ready to cook them up.
My wife gets a loop recorded implanted on Wednesday. Hopefully that'll tell them more about what's going on.

Tractor supply ain't got chicks, local feed store got them the 17th, tractor supply an hour a way just got theirs. Theres a demand here and next year I'm going to do my best to fill it.
