You're better off for that. They are actually a very pretty low lying weed to start. Nice yellow flowers then the get the seed head. If done right they pull up easily and I've been known to do this without gloves however on days where I'm going after them specifically I have gloves on.

We have stinging Nettle and it looks a lot like another weed, has gotten me more than once when I went to pull it out without gloves.

Project for the day. . we are making an umbrella stand out of a galvanised bucket for our umbrella out by the stock tank pool.

Sweet, we need a pic!

Nope. all the toads are safe and sound. I have moved them to a more secure area. I am going to move them all in the next few days to their own coop and run.

Good to hear.

Wow that took some time. All our berries are wild here. The recent heat usually fries them.
Yes the dogs one a Rottweiler and one a dachshund would bare their lips back and gingerly pick them. One getting the lower and one getting the upper berries. We used to think the birds were getting them.

I had a Siberian Husky that would pick his own tomatoes. I thought something was stealing them until I caught him.

80% and chocolate chip cookies....

DEAL!

Speaking of shrooms I took one of the old Morels and blended it up and put it into areas that looked the same as where it was. I'll probably have to water those areas next year as I doubt we'll be getting this much rain again.

Good luck!

Nope, they're mostly around when temps are 50-68.... Cool weather bugs...

They're gluten free, I'm afraid. So they're ALL MINE, cos you all think they're gross. :bun

Stinging nettles make a good tea. We sure thought something else was getting at the berries. Darn dogs. Well at least we knew what the culprit was. After that we just let them have them. My dad had a cat many years ago that ate green tomatoes. Really had my dad going for a bit.

I have heard that about the Nettles, but no thank you.
