Yes. How do you know they would've been girls?
New Years Eve hatch of 2016.

The brown's and the whites are overwhelmingly males.
The browns can be female if they have facial markings.
I expect all white chicks to be males. I've been fooled twice...lol.

The "likely" a male had a lack of defined color pattern. I put him down due to issues.

In the three circled OEGB chicks, it's obvious the bottom two are females with clearly defined chipmunk markings and eye stripes. The male's markings are not defined and he lacks eye stripage. They can tend to be slightly more silver.

Same chicks 17 days later. The whites are considerably more stalky. The OEGB in front is already wearing his tuxedo with silver coloration.

The same group, two months and 12 days later.
Three OEGBs; the male and two females.
The two visible cockerels turned red and two of the pullets. Rest of the pullets are out of sight on the other side.
