EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Good morning! Need some advice please. I have another baby who is not thriving. Born Nov. 2. Lf polish. I’m going to post picks of a what feels like a hard lump or bone on the left side of neck. It protrudes. She doesn’t eat much so I supplement some syringe feeding with gro gel, nutri drench declorinated water, electrolytes and probiotics. Afternoon I do she will eat out of the dish like everyone else. Her left leg is angled wrong to. I fixed her curled foot during the first 24 hours. She does okay.. but noticeable difference in weight and walking ability and of course is more lethargic. 340BC90A-51A7-40D1-A1C4-B7A7A2D91BD0.jpeg 9E95B975-5284-49E4-9713-EC5B93FB1D1F.jpeg 5AB60B88-E0B7-45A7-A2B0-764CB9C8BF97.jpeg 580E67E9-F411-4E11-A42A-F73839F09970.jpeg . Just keep doing what I am?

Sorry, no idea what the lump could be.

This is not sounding promising. I am not sure there is anything you can do. good luck. At two weeks old I am betting the bones are too firm to try any corrective splinting.

The neck is puzzling. If it was older I would say Mareks. But 2 weeks is not enough time for the virus to incubate and become that advanced...... Good luck.

If it was me, I'd keep doing what you are doing. If it becomes clear the chick is really failing...I'd put it down. I try until there's no hope. But I try to be realistic as well. If it's a chick that can't manage on it's own...sometimes the kind thing to do is to let it go.
As much as that hurts. :(
