Morning Everyone! Day 20 today for my incubator eggs. Woke up to one already hatched this morning, and another hatched at 8:00. 8 more pipped.

If it was me, I'd keep doing what you are doing. If it becomes clear the chick is really failing...I'd put it down. I try until there's no hope. But I try to be realistic as well. If it's a chick that can't manage on it's own...sometimes the kind thing to do is to let it go.
As much as that hurts.

That’s what I’ll do! this is one of those babies who is giving it their all. She is so cute to watch. After I give her a boost of the mash she really perks up.

The chick's attitude can be the difference. There will be some who just give up and nothing you do can help. And then the next one will be a scrapper and make it with flying colors!

I had to move my roosters and I thought they'd be ok for a night or two in the barn. A rooster got attacked. I have him in a kennel for his safety and he's been on his own since he could drink electrolytes. (This happened at the same time I hurt my back so I couldn't bend down) He can finally lift up his head and eat on his own. He's going to make it on sheer will alone. He's a cull but we'll see if he gets moved up the ladder. I value spirit just as much as anything. Without it...there's no survival.
