EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

View attachment 1209286 Good morning everyone! It’s been awhile. Hope all are doing well!
I think I have a sick baby. Bearded d’uccle born September, 30.
I just treated everyone for cocci. It’s completed and no more signs. But this little one is not walking around or chirping. Just sitting puffed up.
Crop feels a bit a empty. I’m sure has been pooping. No abnormal poo. Any thoughts?
I wish I knew. I just fall into the category of ask Kathy @casportpony

Was that a "Yes, I want it" :fl

I have an ice maker totally contained and under my control. If I wanted that quote unquote, I would put on 17 layers of clothing, empty my freezer and grab my flashlight and Steven King novel I have been neglecting and climb in. Until then my shorts will remain on while I chuck scratch to my chickies.

I save on dog food and treats, plus the cost of gas. His flea treatment is a little cheaper there than Petmeds.
Stuff for your horse, stuff for little critters, chickens...
I wandered over to the horse stuff and they have StarBuck's favorite treats for way cheaper than I've seen them elsewhere. I'm absolutely going to be buying from them.

ETA: Just noticed they have my fish food for cheap, too.

To show you I am still a good sport about the whole frozen thingy.. I am going to stick a Canadian Flag sticker over the label on the door that has the option of ICE or WATER.. Guess what option your flag goes onto? If we get anymore rain, I will put a Florida State flag over the H2O side.. lol
I think you've already earned the FL flag over the H2O side! I can't remember ever getting so much rain here... generally we get plenty but not too much.

Five were bred, I'm not certain they all settled though. I only have one junior doe, and am looking forward to seeing her udder development.
I hope they all settled. My young buck has figured out how to climb fence literally so if anyone comes in he lets me know. So far only one of the nine dairy does has come back in a second time, and it was before he started this so I only have one doe he bred that I planned for his half brother thankfully it is my only grade doe so not that important. I just wanted his dam's udder put to her.
