I believe the rules are such that there needs to be actual proof of cockfighting before law enforcement can do anything. Sometimes they still turn blind eyes to it.

Some people actually still argue cockfighting as humane, they say the bird wants to fight... well, that's because you bred him to be that way, dummy. The Modern Games now have been bred away from fighting instincts and still look as grand as ever. IMHO the same should be done with the American Game.

Yeah, about as humane as forcing humans to fight lions to the death for the enjoyment of an audience, or slowly killing a bull with spears for the same reason.
