Those originated in Alberta. It's no secret that they've got special needs... the birds and the rest of the Albertans. :lau

Java still refuses to set foot in snow despite being kicked out daily for weeks. I keep telling him that he's not in MN, he won't get room service...

I thought that was Mike's bird? Guess I got mixed up again.

It could be, it does not appear to be up to the quality I normally show...

I like how my HRIR birds are free ranging and in attitude, but they are really slow to mature. They are not as friendly or productive as my ISA, but they are smarter, and my EE are productive and do well, but they are not friendly either though they are better than the ccl crosses. I have not found any type yet that is sized like my reds, but friendlier and more productive. Oh well,. I will just buy some other chicks this spring and see.

Did you ever tried New Hampshires?

I was thinking the same. Just bought some green egg birds. Silveruud. They have RIR and NH in them. We'll see what happens next year if they hatch.

Chanteclers... :thumbsup
Too hot here

True, forgot about that. I'm curious how my Chanteclers do in the heat next summer... hopefully all right. I don't need to lose any. :fl
