I don't ask for much, but it would be really nice if the outside waters weren't frozen solid on the fourth or fifth day of spring.

My neighbor at the lake has whatever kind Tractor Supply sells. I got plenty of hours of use with it and it worked really well.

Pretty sure that's Huskee; I've logged my share of time on one myself; BIL has a 27 ton one that I really like. Earlier this morning I read an article comparing the two; most reviewers preferred the Troy-bilt. Both are made by MTD, or were in '06 when the article was written. MTD's been sold, so IDK now. I know I now own two Troy-bilt snow blowers; just bought the 2nd one two days ago, partially 'cause I liked the 1st one (except for the gas leak that I didn't want to tackle this time of year with the distinct possibility of more snow)

FWIW, I used to have a neighbor who kept a plastic bucket (like a joint compound bucket) containing a trouble light under his outside faucets in the Winter. I don't recall it not working. OH's colder than most of MD though, so I don't know if it'd work for you. Nothing beats a try but a failure.

FWIW, I used to have a neighbor who kept a plastic bucket (like a joint compound bucket) containing a trouble light under his outside faucets in the Winter. I don't recall it not working. OH's colder than most of MD though, so I don't know if it'd work for you. Nothing beats a try but a failure.

The yard hydrant is fine, it's the water in the water outside water bowls that freeze solid.

5 kids. All under the age of 7! Some lady at McDonalds said we looked like a clown car, "kids just kept coming out!" We had a good laugh at that. $400 breakfast. Youch!!! That would break my heart!
We will keep our fingers crossed for these birchen.

We have a passenger van that seats 11 (but has a bench seat to seat 14 total, we have it taken out for cargo space. LOL) I get some funny looks driving it... we also have 5 kids.
