EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Oh brother. Tall order to fill.
Recovering from the overbearing drama fr0m Late 2018 and it was difficult. Early 2019 was challenging.
Too personal 4 details. Limited details rte now-
-Family feud- still a cold war to this day.
-Human death and birth on the same day 23 minutes apart.
Family dice cubes rolled total craps- then recovered partially with nothing short of a make shift reincarnation.(thru optimism)
-My autistic grandson denied access to me for reasons beyond my control. Thanks bob.
_Major employment changes. Having to take on graveyard shifts 3am to stay afloat without selling off too much critters.
_Been selling of the majority of our L-Stock to make ends meet.
-One of us peeps here medically incapacitated with injury w/trama & left the other literally incapacitated mentally. Forced treatment.
-close to 30 piglets drowned in a flash flood about 4 weeks ago, only 6ish recovered.
- I've adopted an 8 foot yellow rat snake. It lives in the barn. I have been compiling pix video of his all out assault on the serious rodent population.

-Other than the bombardment of tribulations the last nine months, I'm not bitter.

Nobody pity or try to patronize me PLEASE.
Yall have good intentions and genuine compassion-
but I'm over and clear of the thorn patch.

I kept my goats! Chucked the ducks & turkies and 120 chickens..
I have 2 budgies & a Canary who is the shi#.
If you ever seen the old cartoons where the confused person has the devil on one shoulder & an angel on the other... Potey the orange carary is the angel.

That's it Dax.. Sorry everyone for bailing.. Lost my paddles.
well I'm glad you survived difficult patch in life. I did not mean to bail on you. I just got overwhelmed on my end.
feel free to share, sometimes that's the best thing you just blow it out.

Dang wish you were closer we could work on that insomnia issue together, was wrapping soap all day and all night, my neck and back hurt so bad, now I try to get on weebly to add the new ones and dang if it keeps crashing! Ill try again in the am, if I keep it up now I will throw this out in the rain!!

Here is what I tagged and shrink wrapped, about 30 of each some more some less. either way I hate wrapping, so time consuming. The new blue white one is cotton and amber, wow it smells so clean, I put one flower directly into the bathroom and Husband stole three for work! The chamomile with the momma and baby goat I made specifically for Campinshaw <3

beautiful work. I made my first CP soap the other day. it's okay, but nothing like yours.

I'm just going to come out and say it, because I don't think there's ever going to be a time when I actually feel like saying it. I'm in denile even though it's staring me in the face. My dad has officially been diagnosed with cancer in his lymph nodes. It was in his tonsils, but it had already started spreading before his surgery to remove them. It's a rare cancer, made even rarer by the way it's behaving. In the next few weeks he'll be starting chemo.

At this point, I don't know how to feel. I've taken over all of my dad's chores so he doesn't have to worry about it. He can't lift the feed bucket for the horse and pigs since he had surgery.

I wish someone could tell me how I'm supposed to feel.
:hugs

Crockpot.

Kids today are still just kids. We get them for five days at a time in the summer. We do not allow watches or electronics. And I t takes a solid day or two for them to detox. And then they’re kids with their hands and feet in the dirt, playing basketball, picking flowers, and petting chickens. They didn’t know they liked lying in the grass and counting shooting stars until we asked them to try.

Everything at camp is “challenge by choice,” meaning they have to option to refuse any activity at any time. Turns out they didn’t know they love hiking. They didn’t know they were strong enough to climb a rock wall or brave enough to swim in the deep end.

I know my perspective and experiences are limited, but I have a lot of hope for kids today.
crock pot for 10 or more gallons? he he he I need to send mine to you soon
