well, just candled my eggs, they are looking pretty close to lock/down hatch.

Think I may have lost 2 more. 1 for sure is gone.. the other is a maybe. I put it back. We will see!

if I get a dozen to hatch, I'd be pretty shocked!

I'm down to 13? in the incubator with the iffy included.

I just started gently turning my geese eggs and was trying to do the math on when to lock down with them. I believe it will be the 9th of nov..

I hugged my ducks today. I realize they dislike being picked up, so I tried to stroke their backs and heads, and they tolerated that better.
I'm pretty sure my turkeys would like hugged. I just am trying to picture what's going to happen when a full sized turkey tom wants a hug.
