Caught this sharp shinned hawk or cooper's hawk this morning. It managed to fly through the open door into my run and couldn't figure out how to get out. We drove him a few miles and released him from the top of a big hill near a lake. Hopefully, he doesn't come back! (Though he was really cool)

She's run herself broke with vet bills for her animals and strays/rescues.

We're almost complete opposites. I'll feed myself first - with a sick animal if need be.

I've had a broody who's been broody for 4+ months now... but she leaves the coop 3-4x a day before going back in the nest, and I make the kids get her out a couple times a day to walk around and dust bathe.

She's eating, drinking and leaving the coop daily, so I'm letting her be for now ;o
