Yes, I have an Aloe Vera plant. His comb is a bit off too, I just can't imagine how it would be too humid in that large of a coop with the two side windows open several inches. They just slide into slots anyway so it isn't air tight

I put a remote read hygrometer in one of my coops. Granted, there were 10 birds in there but the humidity was 20% higher than outside. I was shocked and immediately cut bigger windows.
I'm not saying that is the problem but I'm just saying none of my roosters are showing problems yet. When it gets into the low single digits or below zero the wattles look bad.
However, they survive.
Air, water, food and space, in that order. A big coop is a good thing.

He is in here. We did get single digits this last week overnight.

I kept up with the Bulls when Jordan & Pippen were playing, but not before or since, really. I don't know a blessed thing about soccer.
The Jordan/Pippen era was exciting.
I stand corrected, there have been at least 8 professional soccer teams here over the years. The MISL Steamers were so popular that professional sports franchises of all types sent people here to find out what they were doing right.
One thing that helped was there were a lot of St. Louisans on the team.
US soccer pretty well started here with the CYC. Lots of Italian, Irish, German, etc. immigrants going to Catholic school with great sports programs.

It started around 1900 at my Alma Mater, Christian Brothers College.
In the '50s they brought professional teams from England, France and Scotland to play CYC teams here.
Five of the 11 players on the team that defeated England in the 1950 World Cup were from St. Louis, and every US World Cup squad in history had at least one St. Louis player on its roster. Additionally, twenty St. Louis soccer personalities are enshrined in the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

If it were me, I'd open those windows all the way.

You have heard of the old Midwest adage, it's not the heat, it's the humidity.

Agree. Most of my coops are completely open on at least one side. But the worst we get here is 26*
