My quackers have not laid in a while. Probably due to the three drakes dropped off.
Today I found a Muscovy egg in the nest box.

I only have one Muscovy left-shes such a sweet duck

I use a sourdough pizza crust anymore. It's important to use your hands to mix and knead it.
1 1/2 c sourdough starter
1 1/2 c flour
1 Tb olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
Mix and rest thirty minutes.
Lay out the dough/crust, and use butter as your "sauce". I add some cheese to the crust.
Cook up about a dozen eggs for a large crust, leaving them s little unset. Spread onto the crust. Add any meat or vegetables you want. Bacon, sausage and peppers are common. Sprinkle on some cheese, and bake at 400° for 20 minutes.

I have a recipe too,

It is a high protein treat for chickens..



Take a coffee can of ground corn,
1/2 can of BOSS
sprinkling of oats

Fold in 4 baby rodents.... pound like crazy with a baseball bat...


Feed it to the chickens..They love it...









* Dan I can tell you what to substitute for the rodents if you want.....

Well, off to clean, spray, and put out new straw in the goat sheds. My dairy girls are about ready.

Locked down the eggs early, I candled two and they're internally pipped/ready to

Got my first pullet egg from the Altsteriers chicks that hatched at the end of September. Finally the age they were supposed to lay. Past two generations have been at 6 months. Completely surprised today.

SWEET !!!!

9 cages and 40+ birds cleaned and disinfected! (4 were grow out cages)
