Not really a ringing endorsement of the taste when the best you can says is "It doesn't taste THAT bad".

The only good part of that is there's no fighting over the bowl beaters or spatula.

The WWD use to go nuts, I would make the kids CC cookie dough and put it in the fridge for us to eat.

She was always harping we were going to die of salmonella poisoning... None of us did.

I don't think she has even tasted it she is too afraid of it... which means MORE for me..

But she did sneak in and bake it now and then. When she felt strong enough to bear the kids and my whining about her ruining our dough.

HI Pensmaster! The chickens are doing good, starting to lay eggs again.

You all still getting wet out there?

Dry for the weekend. Rain again on Thursday. The dam that lost a hugh chunk of its spillway is now overflowing on the emergency one. There's no concrete past the dam like the regular spillway had and it's never been tested before. We just got a bulletin in on that spillway they are evacuating people in the lower end of the lake due to hazardous conditions with the emergency spillway. Literally as I was typing the first part of this the bulletin came in.

You live with crazies. The best part of cookies or brownies is licking the bowl...

Yep, raw cookie dough, cake batter, brownie batter, you name it. I got the bowl, my brother got the spoon. Now they have warnings saying, DO NOT EAT RAW DOUGH/BATTER it contains raw eggs.

OMG! I'm almost 64 years old! I'd better stop licking the bowl and sampling the cookie dough. It might damage my health!

My husband finally downloaded the pictures I took on Tuesday just to prove this whole thing isn't a figment of my imagination. Here are my little eggs all marked and waiting to go into the incubator:

When I was growing up we (6 kids) had to share the bowl. Trust me no one ever forgot their turn. We also had a raw egg, banana and grape juice drink my mom made for us. Yummy.
