Dry for the weekend. Rain again on Thursday. The dam that lost a hugh chunk of its spillway is now overflowing on the emergency one. There's no concrete past the dam like the regular spillway had and it's never been tested before. We just got a bulletin in on that spillway they are evacuating people in the lower end of the lake due to hazardous conditions with the emergency spillway. Literally as I was typing the first part of this the bulletin came in.

Yes within the hour.

Here's an excerpt

An evacuation has been for "all Yuba County on the valley floor."

Residents are being asked to evacuate north, toward Chico. DWR said residents in other cities should follow the orders of local law enforcement.

This is no small movement of people guys.

This is very scary! Please stay safe!
