I am on day 20 now. I candled. Nothing will hatch. I'm still not giving up.

Back again..

Its lockdown for another set of 2 eggs.
(I know I know small batch but I have over 10 chicken eggs and 6 quail eggs on day 4)
A while back in the early stage I swore I had twins.

Lost track of them overtime and just let it go. However now…there is one egg that has internally pipped since this morning (now almost night fall) and has been ‘talking’ the whole day.

I opened the incubator ONLY to restore humidity and got curious with this egg. I tapped the small end of the egg and heard a lot of cheeping.

Tapped the fat end of the egg and I heard cheeping.

WAIT. WHAT??

No chick can cheep at both ends of the egg right??

Is this the twins I saw earlier??

This sort of stove is extremely popular with the ultralight backpacker groups. I would have made one for myself, but almost all the places I would camp were under absolute burn bans (including stoves), so I just went with non-cooked stuff for my camping trips. Up with a minor migraine - hoping to get it to pass before it gets going, so much to do today. Baking bread at the moment, and once that's done, I'll get to work on finishing the brooder. Crowing at midnight last night again. I do think it must be the cats - that, or something was trying to get in to one of the coops. I'll check for signs of that today...

Hatched in less then ten minutes.im so happy i think i did better this time couse no gook on it clean zip.went from pip to hatched in 10 minutes wow
