No worries.
I think there is no one way to spell Kiri Kiri. My friend in PR pronounces it Kiriki. He says that's the sound the rooster makes. Very tiny birds. I thought I could develop a market for them. For people in warm climates.

Got to ask you guys.....but what is wrong with California. It is like living in paradise?

I liked it when I was there. I surfed in San Diego. Long time ago.
I visited an army buddy there and another in San Jose. We went for a long ride in the country by orange groves. Picked a few. Biggest oranges I ever saw in my life.
When I was a kid we went to Death Valley, Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland (long before there was a Disneyworld).
I'm sorry I never got to see the giant sequoias or Yosemite.
Death Valley was awesome, but hot. It was July.

Who is Tara and what nice birds does she have?

Tara Higgins of Higgins Rat Ranch Conservation Farm, Alberta, Canada. She has LF and bantam Chanteclers, the latter of which is a project of hers and purebred, not crosses.

She also has calls, Jacob & Dorper sheeps, ACDs, geese, swans, etc.... Plus a bunch more chooks and dux I can't remember. All of which are high quality and drop-dead gorgeous. She has incredible amounts of knowledge on genetics and breeding to the standard.

Still a bit toasty pour moi; would be okay though IF that was summer temp.... But since it's winter, those are crazy temps. Can't imagine what you hit in summer!

A very good friend of mine raises White Chanteclers (and Black Penedesencas). She moved from WI to WA. She sells the White Chanteclers and Cotton Patch Geese all over the country.

Hot but close to the coast that Pacific breeze cools things off.
When I was a kid, we were shocked at the temps. In July, it was too cold for my sister and I to swim. 2 or 3 blocks from the water it was comfortable.

CH, I see a Cochin or two, several D'uccles of various colourings, and mebbe a BR bantam? Can't tell if it really has a brown tint or if the camera messed with the colour.
