The Cinco De Mayo people stole "our" day!!

My Wife and I were married 44 years ago today...Had we known back then people were going to usurp our day we would have gotten married on the 4th,,,

Whew... so glad to get that off my chest....

Cinco de Mayo—or the fifth of May—is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867).

That seems to predate your 44 year marriage.

Happy Anniversary!

Scratch the swimming lesson; pupil got loose. I intended to carry the trap by the handle, but I figured he might be able to reach around the plate below the handle & snag the heavy glove I was wearing, so I got a crow bar, hooked it through the handle, & proceeded to drag the trap across the yard. Got to within 15' of the trash can, & discovered the keeper that holds the door shut was disengaged. I'm sure he did it by laying on his back & pushing it up, then somehow worked his way under the door w/o me seeing him. I'm surprised, as mad as he was, that he didn't come after me.

I'll invest the ammo from now on

Nope, it doesn't..

Besides nobody cared about it way back in 73.... if it was a holiday they kept it in Mexico and never bothered us in Minnesota with it,

Sorry he got away, glad he didn't come at you though.
