I'm so sorry to hear about you doelings.The first got Clostridium enterotoxemia and while she recovered and seemed to be better she died almost two weeks later overnight with no symptoms. The second was treated for mild Clostridium enterotoxemia, then the next week she got scours, then she stopped taking a bottle and we tried lots of stuff as the vet could not pinpoint it. Without a necropsy we won't know. I have never lost bottle babies before, but these two came from the same place, and I lost them both. I've had a couple of times where a lamb or twins failed to get colostrum in time. One was an older ewe with blocked nipple ducts, probably from mastitis after weaning. I thought they were getting milk. They weren't.
Complete failure to thrive and it went downhill from there. Very frustrating.
