EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I am anti corn 1000 percent.
And just like I know I will never change some peoples minds about the way I do things no one will even change mine about feeding out corn.
It has it's place...like up here in frigid land. ;) I was most excited when our grain vac came back from our cousins with lots of corn in it...lol. I pailed that right up and fed it last winter in conjunction with my millet and wheat. :wee

No way in the world I would ever even buy a bag of scratch...just so you know.

I'm not trying to preach to anyone about converting to "my" way either.

I love how we all do things differently and can hare out ways..but I do like the studies.
The next batch of chicks I get will be fed a completely different way...
I plan to try a few different methods..in my particular yard to see what works best for my flock.

I really do like the FF way though..especially with my summer heat..the water intake with the feed is great..IMO.

Whatever you say, Ralphie. :lau

I don't feed it because they don't need it and it's just another $8 on the bill. Well, except in winter when they're puffed up, drowsy, and need some fun. Then I grudgingly open my wallet and get some.

CORN!!! :lau

We have neighbors who grow corn and they turn their cattle out onto it for winter grazing. Of course I greatly dislike that because that attracts all the coons in the entire countryside.
:sick
