I bought Kamut scratch from Azure standard before. It was very good. Currently I have a cracked wheat scratch. I mix it with layer pellets. Groats are good too

I guess scratch is sold differently every where..

So what I finally just learned is that it is not just a question of what ones feeds but what brand they feed too.

See I read that over a few days the water and grain will make it own good stuff? But then I read were people used the mothers additive and it speed up the process. Oh heck I need to go back and read up some more.

TPF? (the pig farmer)? DH has known his brewery buds years before they started brewing. we are spoiled. All he does is wait on a text saying come and get it.

We feed it as a ration on the side along with eggmaker crum/pell and sometimes mix cracked corn in it. Also since we switched over to Rural King Brand Feed, I noticed ground oyster shell flakes mixed into the feed.. So I stopped offering a side dish of oyster shell on the side as much. But still offer grit.
Too much of one thing (Barley Grain) does a wack job on my birdies bum bums... SQUIRT...

AWESOME! thanks.. Was tired of living in the humidity soaked sheets (fly paper) sticking to my back.. I swear to God I can still hear the generator spitting and popping! Just under 7 days with no power and now I have to learn how to reach for a light switch.. lol. I was cooking dinner in the dark last night and bob flips the switch and says you know we have lights now right?
