dang I need freezer full of more than liver I am sick of liver, gonna feed it to the cattys down at the pond

Sales have dropped so bad.. No body wants to pay for quality. They want to pay zilch for animals we forked out bug bucks to raise. Hub is liquidating assets out of frustration. We had an animal yard sale yesterday. Most want to pay pennies on the dollar. So many people selling in our County that competition has lowered the average price of birds and swine to nothing. It takes over 1 hundred dollars to get 1 pig up to 75/80#.. Folks are listing them on craigslist for 40-50 bucks.. TRASH FED I am sure. We use top grain. We get offers for a 1/3 of our feed cost everyday. Hub tells them to go buy a prison garbage dumpster fed lard infested half wild half domestic pig from those guys.. We fed ours high quality food because when they don't sell, we consume them.. all of them.
If you feed your animals crap garbage food, that is what they taste like. thus.. you get what you pay for.
Our processor always remarks how lean our pork is when we pick it up. The back fat is minimal and the ratio with muscle is balanced.
The tire kicking customers here think a pig is a pig, and their is no difference. Uneducated consumers.
