The pack I showed you makes 128 gallons.. It will last you a real real long time. Helps prevent Wry neck on new chicks.. good luckI don't have any of the suggested products, and yes infection is possible. I do have tetracycline for fish...? I used raw yolk mixed with water for now, figured if they survive off yolk for three days it's probably got good stuff in it...
I have a lunch meeting today, but will try to swing by the farm store and look for the electrolytes/meds. Thank you for your help again everyone!Hopefully this guy has a miraculous turn around, but I wouldn't bet money on it.
I’ve saved Ralphie several times from such horror.I woke up early expecting this. I was not disappointed.

It seems to be a buff Silkie/New EE rooster cross. At least she's done setting.
I took pics of the nest to horrify Ralphie. However, I'm not sure he could take that kind of stress. He would ne'er believe two chicks could hatch from such a horror.
What you did is a good idea, I think. I'm not familiar with how you dose with tetracycline. But I bet that could work.I don't have any of the suggested products, and yes infection is possible. They simply would not have hatched for him.

Just got a bag of electrolyte & vitamin mix for $2.49 Makes 258 gallonsI would definitely trust casportpony's link. She really knows her stuff! We like the Rooster Booster brand of electrolytes & vitamins. It comes in a little jar, so you can mix up small amounts & not waste it. That little jar lasts a long time too. I hope you can pull the little guy through!![]()
No antibiotics though...
I'm usually not one to rush into antibiotics, but at this point because of the nature of the beast, it's highly probable that he has an internal infection.lol.. that was when I learned how to screen shot on my new phone..
