Yes it’s expected of me. I’d rather be skinning chickens. I am rather lucky in winning some of the door prizes if it’s cash the chickens benefit.

Ooh... door prizes are nice. I can't say skinning chickens is much fun either (getting the skin off the wings is like peeling an ice cube with a spoon) but I'd take it over socializing.

I usually do not bother with the last two sections of wings. Far too much work for the gain with my breed.

We just puck n gut. Freeze them whole after a brine bath. Butcher for desired meals cutting and with or w/o skin. I'll take some pix coming up on our harvest. They are like a wet bar of soap.

I meant to leave the skin but it looked so terrible when I was finished eviscerating that I just skinned the rest. When I was loosening the crop I accidentally took off half the breast skin.
