I’ll just show you. It’s a little of everything I think. Breeds are giant cochins and silkies. Breeder said she’d never had so many from one hatch. I’m going to keep them inside after I move the rest (buff orps and colored egg layers) to the big brooder.
All five:
Cochins: one has a very swollen foot. One isn’t very bad at all and seems most likely to recover.

Silkies: the blue is the worst. Very weak, lighter than air. I gave it a dropperful of water and that perked it up.
The white can balance on the good leg, looks like an injury? Dried blood on the hock.
Anyone here still an expert on leg issues in chicks? I got a bunch from a breeder and she gave me five gimpy ones for free. I don’t really want to clog up the emergencies thread. I read a podiatry link or two, but I’m not confident enough in diagnosing. I gave them all a drop of poly-vi-sol.
