Thanks for this. I wasn’t sure since she seems a little better today. But I do feel it would be kinder to us all if she was euthanized. She was shrieking so much Kasky night I didn’t get much sleep. And the chicks are on the opposite side of a decent sized house.

If it helps any it’s really windy today and overcast. The storm is arriving.
Also the skunk is being zeroed in on by buzzards. Barely light out and they are flying in. Seems a little early in the morning for that. But I guess they need breakfast as well.

Is she by herself?

No, she is with the others. But seems to spend most of the time underneath the heating pad with some. She doesn’t seem to be interested in food or water like the others. I have seen her peck at crumbles on the ground. The others seems to fill their crop and go rest, I have not seen her do that.

Are the crumbles too big for her. Reason I ask my last batch pecked at some smaller crumbles but left the big ones. I put the crumbles in the food blender (not for humans) and they started eating like crazy. Might also try mixing a little water with it.

I checked off several items from the list yesterday, but it just grew longer.

Good news? It's all good. Except the sun burn. We did a little get away for a couple nights for a "break the monotony"' retreat.
