Shalom to all @kwhites634
This are my first attempts of leather tooling, would appreciate your opinion, remember I don't have the professional tools, all my tools are makeshift one that I have made from bolts. It impossible to find them here, and the one I have ordered have not arrived yet.

I have no professional opinion on this, but they look really nice I wouldn't have that marched artistic talent if I followed a pattern and had great tools. You could earn good money tooling leather. Almost a lost art here.

I have been gone because I have been spending all my time trying to build a website on my cell phone talk about driving you self crazy I'm going to start something real basic until I get on a computer and fix it up.

:thumbsup
See this, I want to get close to this level
It's not that difficult once you know the techniques. Someone once asked me if I could tell whether the purse she'd purchased in Mexico, where artisans turned out leatherwork for the tourists, was actually hand-tooled or done with a machine. After examining it in detail, I told her it was, indeed, hand-tooled. When she asked how I knew, I told her I'd found a mistake, where the tool had slipped; machines don't make mistakes.

In those days it was pretty easy to tell whether a particul piece, like a lady's purse, was made in Mexico. The giveaway was the smell when the owner got caught in the rain while carrying it; it gave off a slight odor of urine, which was said to be due to the leather being tanned with uric acid. I never tried to confirm that.

@ChickenCanoe Pen is still recovering from a pretty serious molt, but I thought you might like to see him.
