EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I contacted one of my sources for hatching eggs.... I'm going to try for March after all! Well, maybe. We had a bad wind that lifted up and smashed the little pre-fab coop I use for integration, and husband disassembled by broader and filled the space with junk. :smackBut all things can be overcome with a hammer and nails. 😉

We are fine thank you very much.
About retirement there are 5 option.
1. It called "Budget pensions" it is a pension that is fully paid by the government from the state budget. It is usually paid to soldiers of ccareer, police men, and parliament members.
2. "Accumulating pension", my pension, in which I put aside 7% of my brut salary and my employer put another 11% every month, for 35 years of work. And then after this year's I will have 70% of my current salary. It's happens automatically every month without any action from my part. This pension is usually a pension of the big unions and the public sector.
3." executive insurance " it is a insurance policy that a worker can negotiate the terms with his employers normaly in hige tec company.
4. A standard minimum pension that an employer have to pay to his employees according to the low, 4.5% from the employer and 2.5% from the employee salary- the majority of small business.
5. Pepole that have their own business they do what they want
If they pay they will have a pension if not they will not.
I, God willing, want to stop working at 60, another 6 years. So I can feel it coming under the horizon! :)
Thanks for explaining Benny! 6 years will go quickly! Almost too quickly! How old are ur children now?

What breeds? And good morning

was 45 degrees this morning when we headed out to do chores, huh thats warmer than our high has been for a while???? what is moving in,??? snowing off and on now supposed to get down to 15 tonight. huhmph I moved a couple of december hatch babies outside over the weekend, they have lots of feathers and were weaned off heat in the house but I still worry. DD is convinced that they are not getting enough to eat, so last night she went out and set on patrol so that the slightly bigger chickens couldn't steal their food... silly girl.
It hit 74 here Monday. Now the snow is moving in. 5-8 inches on the way this afternoon. It will be at or well below freezing till the weekend so that snow will be here for a while.

our weather needs to get medicated for being bi-polar or something.??? it was 2 degrees this morning, yuck, I didn't look close enough to know if that was positive or negative but either way it was COLD! was happy that sweetheart kept her babies warm and they were running around this morning!
The early december babies that we moved outside were doing fine this morning with the early November chickies
getting my shop set up with a newer wood stove that is not rusted out so that we can get more brooders set up there for the near future.:thumbsup

Bonus!
I have 2 batches of chicks that are 3 and 7 days old (20 total) and another 10 or so due to hatch in a week or so. I have to get busy building more housing and repairing buildings the coyotes destroyed.
What part of CO? I used to ski all over the state. My son just got back from Monarch.

we are on the western slope if you ever skied in Telluride then you might have come through montrose(where I live) otherwise most folks do not even know where it is. I will have to decide how many "older" birds to keep and witch ones to get rid of.
