EE 21 weeks, hen or roo?

Update on my EE: he or she has still not lain an egg and it's been 39 weeks. No crowing either. :hmm

The fact that it hasn't laid an egg isn't too surprising. Days are lengthening, so hopefully soon. We had some dark brown leghorns (DBL) that laid at: 38 weeks, 44 weeks, and not yet by the time we sold them around 45 weeks. But, comparatively, the rest of the flock-mates of the same age (5 different breeds) began to lay much earlier, between 18-24 weeks.

We had an accidental EE cockerel (supposed to be female) and it was silent....never crowed by the time it was butchered, which was around 4 months (so young age), but we had some DBL boys that were crowing a lot by around 3 months - they seemed to mature early.
