EE barred rock cross chick

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but someone told me that the chicks don't necessarily sexlink if the rooster is white/part white. Could that be the case? I'm new to chicken genetics so I have no idea if that's true
Your rooster is splash with red leakage. Splash x black makes blue chicks.
I'm not agruing, or trying to argue. I'm voting female, you're voting male. I just want to see who's correct. There's just that 1% chance of it being female.
For example, I got 1 solid colored offspring in my crele Orpington project.
The rooster you use is single barred. So that means he can make unbarred offspring.

Hi everyone! I forgot to update, but he's pretty big now, and has some barring coming in, and surprisingly, some iridescent feathers, too. It looks as if some of the barred feathers have a little tinge of brown, I think as he gets older he will have some brown/red feathers. It also looks like he's a boy, he has some pretty long droopy tail feathers. Here are some pictures.

You can't see in the pictures. but he also has a few solid white wing feathers. I wonder if he will retain his grey color or become completely barred

looking back over this thread -- can't get over how cute these guys are! what do they look like now? I definitely want to mess around with genetics some more.
That one chick I posted died a couple years ago.

This is one from last year all grown up.
