Hey, I have one with a black beard too, I call her Lady Blackbeard.

Here she is at about 9 weeks and Carmelita. I've posted them before. I can't wait until they fill out like the others in this thread!

ETA: The birds below are SEVEN weeks old..sorry.

Thanks Shelly, I was thinking if I could get the face more black it would really be cool. Not sure how that would happen.
It is sort of interesting when you look at your ee's and think the coloring is special and then someone posts one just like yours! She has the hair do though which is cool!

This is little bird last August at about 4 weeks old...we got her locally from a family

This is her last October (I don't have a better pic....my 3 yr old attempting his first chicken pick up)

This is Rooster last August- Little Bird and him were from the same hatch

And him in October

I need to go out and get a recent picture of them....

And this is Phoenix....he was a free chick from Murray McMurray (Feb 08)

Unfortunately he escaped the coop a few days after this pic and a dog got him....I think he would have made a beautiful rooster....
