Thanks! I'm really hoping he fits in with my flock. He's quarantined at the moment, and is very vocal. I fell in love with his unique look. I'm excited to see what kind off offspring he produces!

Well Elvis is now a proud member of our flock. He fits in great. He's even picked his favorite girl, which happens to be my white EE, Dove.

*EDIT- CombOver was his name, but we changed it to Elvis now... Since he loves to "sing" quite often, and his comb reminds us of Elvis' hair.

My EE hen and rooster had their first baby. Mama was not the greatest mother, so this sweetie is now living in my house, being spoiled in a brooder. I know EE's are hybrids, so I'm so curious as to how he/she will look when grown. 😍

When she's about 2 or 3 weeks old, I've found that whatever color the little ear fuzzies are..that'll mostlikely be her head/top-of-neck color. So far, this has proven true of my EE pullets. I did have an EE roo that I believe had gray ear fuzzies as a chick but his head later turned gold with s sort of gray base. So maybe that's an early sign of a roo if at around 8+ weeks, feathers start emerging on head that don't match initial feathers that did match the ear fuzzies when they first came in. Does that make sense? Still trying to figure it out...my 5 EEs this year all turned out to be pullets but head/neck does match their 2 week ear fuzz. All started with dark down but the 2 with gold ear fuzz now have gold heads and the 3 with dark/black ear fuzz now have dark/black heads. As for the rest of the plumage, haven't figured out how to tell that yet!

I have a few white EEs that are now 8 weeks old (not full grown yet, but getting big)
I have a lot of pictures, so they’ll just be in order from day old chicks up until today. They’re all very spoiled, especially Fluffy, who seems to believe she is a lap-chicken.

This is Fluffy, Bitty, and Hei Hei :) (Although most are of Fluffy, especially the ones towards the end.)

Due to family issues, I have had to get totally out of chickens for now. But I'm enjoying all the pictures of comparisons and your lovely birds. Thank you one and all.
