I have mixed my ee's with my cochins, one ee has a beard and a straight comb, lays a tan egg and the other is black with a pea comb and she lays a blue egg. They make beautiful mixes and great mamas most of all u never know how they will turn out kind of like seramas.

Yes, that half laced, half pencilled EE is awesome!

I believe someone in the eggs/behaviors section has a half barred, half spangled EE. . . . People are finally starting to make some really neat combos.

I know he's not according to the standard for Araucana, I put that inregard to him looking like one (Rumpless). That is also why I put Easter Egger in ( ). And I would thank you to not call my chickens mutts.

Illia nailed it on the head. I wasn't calling any of your birds mutts (how could I, I don't even know what you have) but EEs are mutts.

It seems like duckwing pops up a lot in EEs.

Again they you go puting down people's chickens, the implication was there when I said that about calling my chickens mutts. I have Easter Egger.

Illia nailed it on the head. I wasn't calling any of your birds mutts (how could I, I don't even know what you have) but EEs are mutts.

This is plain out insulting and rude.

Not all EEs are mutts. It's a losing battle around here though, so I digress.

It's insulting and rude? Then why is it we have EE Braggers threads, mutt threads, mutt dogs, . . . Heck we're even mutts.

Calling something a mutt is not always an insult, and I certainly didn't mean it. I don't think anyone else saw it that way either. All I meant is that Easter Eggers have been bred with no goal in mind other than colorful eggs, making them just as much of a mutt as any other crossing for colorful eggs.

Also consider, the green egg itself is created by crossing two things together.
