I have one 10 month old EE hen that has given me 3-4 eggs a week since she started laying. Now for the last month or so no blue eggs! Has she stopped laying? Egg count is down a bit, but I do have one hen molting and it's winter. So I'm wondering if she might be molting but doesn't look like it? Or have her eggs changed from blue to brown? I suppose she could be laying in a hiding spot, but I haven't found any and she never did that before. Of course I never see her in the nesting boxes either.
Anyone have a clue?

No, her eggs didn't change to brown. I have 5 EE hens and for most of December and January only got (maybe) 4 or 5 eggs between all of them. The last couple of weeks (with the day length increasing) is resulting in my hens laying more... The last couple of weeks I'm starting to get an EE egg every other day or so. My other 'non-production' hens have also begun to start laying again. My "production" hens like my Red Stars, Black Stars, RIR, slowed down on production, but didn't stop entirely.

If you chickens free range... it couldn't hurt to do a good check to make sure they aren't laying in some hidden spot. While my chickens are generally 'creatures of habit', occasionally they change and do start laying in weird places.

Last fall I thought my Silver Spangled Hamburgs had not started laying until a found a hidden nest with about 40 small (very small) white eggs in it.

Thanks for the answer. That narrows it down anyway. I really didn't think that she would just start laying brown instead of blue. But I learn something every day and these chickens are always full of surprises. It's good to know that she's still a blue egg layer. I guess I'll go on an extensive easter egg hunt. And if I don't find anything I 'll just wait to see if blue eggs suddenly start appearing in the coop.
