I think it is only $10.00 per year to join the ABC. You even get to get your name on the breeders list which should get you lots on inquiries on your birds.

I will be more careful next time I buy eggs. I am happy with what I got, but it isn't what I thought I bought. Live and learn. Funny, I have had backyard laying and meat chickens all my life, but trying to learn about different breeds is a whole new deal. Got to admit though, I'm having fun!

My goodness!!!!!! Now that is a beautiful bird!!! Looks almost like she has some salmon faverolle in her. My My what a beauty!!!!

Really stunningly pretty bird, regardless. The whole live and learn thing can be tough but you did get an awesomely beautiful bird, even if the color is non-standard.
