TXCARL- Due Feb. 7 with a surprise. (I have delivered all the past 2-3 wks. earlier, so that puts us at mid-late Jan.) Congrats to you on your first!!!! It's obviously a pretty great ride...or we wouldn't be doing it again

i would have to say it is a cockerl! Smalll children in my eye should not be around rooster when it has hens and they are at mating age. With that breed they can be alittle more protective of there hens in there mating age.It is alot about how much you are around them and handly them. Iam not saying get rid of your rooster just make sure you are always wacth the kids when they around them.
