EE or Dark Cornish??

Dark Cornish chicks are lighter than those...

Not necessarily.....my D/C chicks are darker and have developed into some very nice birds. My stock came directly from Henry Mager.

The first chick looks like a Cornish, the other a EE

I guess I had reason to be so confused! The consensus seems to be that chick #1 is our DC.


To clear up some confusion hopefully, we purchased this batch from McMurry. We have 4 bantam EE and 1 Bantam DC as our only bantam clean legged chicks unless they messed up somewhere. Our mystery chick is obviously a Barred Cochin. The other 3 clean legged bantams are unmistakable EEs- beards, green legs, one white one bluish wheaton one deep chestnut brown. So one of these has to be our DC and I'll assume its our Chipmunk as we call him/her.

I would say it is a cornish. It looks alot like my 4 cornish chicks
