EE pullets laying eggs soon?

Hi all!

I got 4 EE pullets about two months ago and I am so excited for them to start laying. I don´t know their exact ages but I'm figuring they were about 18 or so weeks when we got them. It is already freezing at night where we are located. I´m not sure if they will lay this winter or if we´ll have to wait till next spring? We do not have a heat lamp in our coop.

Do you have any clue when they will start laying as I am a first-time chicken owner (and loving it!!!)?

They are now in the 26 week range. Pretty normal age to start laying. You will see eggs soon. I've had June pullets start laying Christmas week so hours of daylight isn't as critical in first timers. You will get decent production out of them all winter.

Mine were hatched out august 21st so we will see here soon about eggs! I have 12 pullets so I'm really eager as well. I will post when I get my first colored egg! and add a picture!

Mine are exactly 3 months and 2 days old. I didn't know they could lay so early so we will see. I thought more around 6 months old
