Ethel’s egg shells are weird Excess calcium bumps on the shell but the shells are THIN and break sooo easily. Help! She is a year 1/2 old never an issue before. Her eggs have always had bumps now and then. I offer oyster shells on the side.

What do you feed? When I started my hens on Purina Layena Crumbles the shell quality got way better.

Yes, knowing what all and how exactly you are feeding would help.
Any other birds have this issue? If not, then it's not likely a feed issue.
Also, is this hen just coming back in to lay after molting and winter break?
Could be a 'start up' glitch.
If her egg have always had bumps, she's got a funky shell gland that may never change.

Hers have always had a few bumps but the shell itself has been strong. She is just coming off winter break/ fall molt. So maybe that is it. I feed kaumbach feed

Which 'model'...protein and calcium percentages(should be on tag sewn into bottom of bag).
What else do you feed them...any 'treats'?
Again if it's just the one bird.....not much you can do, IME.
