So my babies are getting big...I think almost 4 weeks sometime next week. Was told they're most likely EEs. Also have 2 BOs. One seems 3 of the EEs has yellow legs, one has a green-ish tinted to them. My understanding is there isn't really a "standard" for EEs in regards to colors, combs, face feathers, etc. I'm hoping they keep the coloring they have now! But they're changing so fast! Is it safe to say they're basically a surprise batch?

They occasionally can have weird mixes. The lighter ones almost look like those whiting true blues sold by Murray mcmurray.

There used to be characteristics you would expect with Easter eggers, but those seem to be disappearing unfortunately in many of them.

I know with time I'll know for sure...I've just never bought from mixed bins before. Not even sure it was a mixed bin but it was nearing end of chick days and there were 3 labels on each bin. Not even many chicks the week I got them. I'm just so darn impatient! ‍

@oldhenlikesdogs I have whiting true blues and EE, I honestly can't tell which is which. They all look pretty much the same :idunno
I haven't seen them in person, but by photos the look like they have no muffs? And yellow legs? EE should still have greenish legs of dark, but those traits are going away.
