This is a pic of my EE rooster Sandy (who used to be Sandra). Can anybody tell me what mix he is? I left the pic big so you could get a real good look at him!

Well an EE is a mixed bird, so they can have pretty much any color pattern.

But he doesn't have a pea comb like an EE should, so I'm not sure.

Yeah, the comb is funny. It is getting a bit floppy. His color pattern seems so familiar it bugs me. I think he was born in mid-February and I thought he was a girl until a month ago he started breeding the two oldest hens. He hasn't crowed yet. He is very friendly and comes when called.

Looks like Black Breasted Brown/Red ??? (popular OEG variety.. maybe this is why it looks so familiar) No Pea comb... could very well be a mix.

What size is he and do you know that it is an EE? I think it is a straight up OEG, unless of course you know for sure that it is not.

He is standard size. I hope that was what you were asking. B/c I don't want to go out in the middle of the night in a thunder storm to weigh and measure!

He was sold to me as an Ameraucana, but of course he is not a true one.

Here is two bad pic of the two pullets he was sold to me with, supposedly of the same stock. They are a bit camera shy so it is hard to get a good shot.
